The Prince William Soccer Referees Association (PWSRA) is an independent association of referees located in eastern Prince William Co., Virginia. We are located about 25 miles south of the nation’s capital. We provide referees for the rec programs for Prince William Soccer Inc., one of the largest soccer organizations in Virginia, as well as for PWSI’s travel teams that play in the Old Dominion Soccer League. We also assign for the Marine Corps Base Quantico’s youth recreational soccer program. In addition, many of our referees take assignments in competitive youth leagues including National Capital Soccer League and Washington Area Girls Soccer League, plus adult amateur matches in the D.C. area. Our referees are certified through the United States Soccer Federation and are part of the Metro DC - Virginia State Referee Program.

There will be a required meeting for new referees wishing to work for PWSRA this fall. The time is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This is the basis for a successful season of refereeing as we will cover the assigning process in depth. Referees under the age of 16 must attend with at least one parent. In order to be successful we need the involvement of an adult as well as the referee.

The sessions will be held in the Occoquan Room of the Prince William County McCoart Building, 1 County Complex Ct., Woodbridge VA 22192. It is located at the entrance to the baseball stadium.
