Daniel Carroll


Daniel Carroll was selected as the 2012 VYSA Young Male Referee of the Year.

Daniel began refereeing at age 12 and has increasingly accepted more challenging roles. A former player with PWSI, he also coached a U16B team in the Suburban Friendship League last year. He has refereed in NCSL, ODSL, WAGS, and VCCL as well as many tournaments including the State Cup Tournament.

Daniel is a Life Scout working on his Eagle Scout. He is the founder of Limbs for Fitness, an organization dedicated to helping amputees live a full life. He is a senior at C.D. Hylton H.S. in Woodbridge.

Daniel is the sixth winner from PWSRA and this marks the seventh time PWSRA has had a Young Referee of the Year. He joins Lexi Hodgson (2012), Angela Ruf (2011), Stephanie Ellis (2010), Stephanie Myrick (2009), and Ryan White (2008, 2007) as Young Referees of the Year from PWSRA.
