Acacia is secretary for PWSRA. She renewed her reffing career in 2006 although after having done it as a youth in California with AYSO. She comes from a reffing family as her father was a referee and her daughter, Stephanie, is also a referee. Besides refereeing soccer, she also has been a judge at the Shelby Co. (Ohio) Spelling Bee and was the 4-H Livestock health inspector at the Kern Co. (California) County Fair.

In addition to refereeing, she teaches spin classes at the Freedom Aquatic Center in Manassas.
