John is the Prince William Soccer Referee Association Referee Liaison to Prince William Soccer, Inc.  In this role he advises PWSI on modifications to the Laws of the Game for youth, small-sided, and senior matches.

When not serving as a referee and generally irritating players, coaches, and spectators, John enjoys geo-political analysis with a Constitutional perspective, medieval jousting, thermal dynamic examination, quantum mechanic research, Norwegian dialect study, storytelling, appreciative inquiry, web 2.0 application, textual originalist theology, percussion performance, and motorcycling.

John earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Percussion Performance (which serves him well as a Federal employee) and a Master’s degree from George Mason University in Organizational Learning and Knowledge Management.

John is married with four children - apparently because he and his wife can’t figure out what causes them.

 

He bears absolutely no resemblence to Wayne Newton.
